At Dusk is a series of photographs taken from beneath the Ann Richards Congress Street Bridge in Austin, Texas, where during the summer and fall, thousands of Mexican bats fly into the evening sky. This group of photographs sees the spectators who gather and the emerging bats as two distinct graphical elements that are viewable only in a kind of silhouette in the waning light. In addition to describing this mysterious phenomena, these photographs reveal a sense wonder for the natural environment that is perhaps still possible in an increasingly technological age.
